Job summary

Highbury Media is seeking a Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team on African Insider, our print and digital news platform covering current affairs across the continent. The role focuses on selling digital advertising and partnership opportunities to clients across South Africa and the wider African markets.

You will identify target audiences, conduct client research, source new leads, and craft compelling angles that align a client's product with our continental and local reach, then

Qualifications

• Previous telemarketing and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
• An interest in and understanding of African current affairs, politics, and business is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
• Resilient, enthusiastic, and professional.
• Target-driven with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sell digital advertising space, with a proven track record in sales.
