Neighbourgood is looking for a dynamic and talented Sales Executive with excellent all round sales knowledge to join our team and assist with leading the growth of the Neighbourgood business. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, focussed on execution and able to manage through ambiguity and complexity. The candidate will combine their sales and marketing skills to manage a diverse sales portfolio to ensure targets are met.
This role requires a self-starter and strategic thinker who is proactive and innovative, with a hands-on approach. The candidate should be passionate about driving results and making an impact in a next-generation brand.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hotel sales experience within the hospitality industry.
- A successful track record in the hospitality industry would be of value.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Needs to have strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
- Must have the ability to conduct sales calls and business negotiations virtually.
- Must be able to negotiate effectively through identifying client needs.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic, stress resistant and always professional.
- Excellent command of English, however other languages would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- This role involves managing an allocated portfolio of accounts, where your responsibilities will include maintaining strong relationships, providing excellent service, and identifying opportunities for growth and revenue generation. This also includes tracking production to ensure targets are met.
- A key aspect of the role is to execute Neighbourgood's long-term leasing strategy across our properties to drive revenue growth. You will also focus on expanding our Leisure transient business, as well as the Film & Production sector.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive account business plan that is consistently updated and actively implemented. Your performance will be measured against monthly revenue targets and key performance indicators.
- To achieve these goals, you will conduct weekly sales calls, site inspections, and client product training sessions. You will also be responsible for acquiring new accounts.
- Collaboration with the marketing team will be essential in developing effective sales strategies, offers, and promotions. There may also be requirements to attend industry trade shows.
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date client database is crucial. Additionally, you will assist in hosting familiarisation trips and overnight educational stays for clients.
- Another important responsibility is to manage the renewal and re-contracting of all annual Leisure contracted clients.
- Regular weekly reports detailing completed sales activities and relevant feedback will be required.
- A strong understanding of the budget for each market segment (monthly, weekly, daily, and yearly) is necessary to implement key actions aimed at achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Occasional national sales trips may be required as part of this role. Furthermore, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties as needed.
- Please note that a valid driver’s license is a requirement for this position.
