Partnership Manager (Learning & Development Solutions)

?? Location: JHB preferred | Open to KZN & Eastern Cape
?? Hybrid Work: 1-2 Days/Week in Office (PTA or KZN)
?? Salary: R45,000 CTC/month + Lucrative Commission (Monthly Payouts)

A well-established, national training and development provider is expanding its team and is on the hunt for a Partnership Manager to help scale their presence across retail, FMCG, and hospitality sectors. This role is perfect for someone who can think strategically, work independently, and engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Drive new business sales and key account growth through tailored L&D solutions.
  • Prospect, cold-call, follow up, and close deals with high-value clients.
  • Work with the internal product team to create client-specific offerings aligned with QCTO standards.
  • Maintain and forecast your pipeline using tools like Zoho CRM.
  • Stay on top of industry and competitor trends to keep solutions relevant and compelling.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Report on performance, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve your impact.

We're Looking For

  • Someone aged 35-45+ with gravitas to confidently work with executives.
  • Proven experience in solution-based sales (not transactional selling).
  • A solid network and history with Retail, FMCG, and/or Hospitality clients.
  • Knowledge of QCTO standards and the L&D industry is a strong advantage.
  • Able to handle high-pressure targets - think R2 million/month, not per year.
  • Strategic thinker who's innovative, calm under pressure, and knows how to get results.
  • Strong business writing and proposal development skills.
  • Bonus: Existing client list or active book of business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant degree/diploma in Sales, Marketing, or similar.
  • 3-6 years' experience in the training & development or solution sales space.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding targets in a B2B environment.
