Partnership Manager (Learning & Development Solutions)

?? Salary: R45,000 CTC/month + Lucrative Commission (Monthly Payouts)

A well-established, national training and development provider is expanding its team and is on the hunt for a Partnership Manager to help scale their presence across retail, FMCG, and hospitality sectors. This role is perfect for someone who can think strategically, work independently, and engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business sales and key account growth through tailored L&D solutions.
- Prospect, cold-call, follow up, and close deals with high-value clients.
- Work with the internal product team to create client-specific offerings aligned with QCTO standards.
- Maintain and forecast your pipeline using tools like Zoho CRM.
- Stay on top of industry and competitor trends to keep solutions relevant and compelling.
- Contribute to marketing strategy and brand awareness initiatives.
- Report on performance, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve your impact.
We're Looking For
- Someone aged 35-45+ with gravitas to confidently work with executives.
- Proven experience in solution-based sales (not transactional selling).
- A solid network and history with Retail, FMCG, and/or Hospitality clients.
- Knowledge of QCTO standards and the L&D industry is a strong advantage.
- Able to handle high-pressure targets - think R2 million/month, not per year.
- Strategic thinker who's innovative, calm under pressure, and knows how to get results.
- Strong business writing and proposal development skills.
- Bonus: Existing client list or active book of business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant degree/diploma in Sales, Marketing, or similar.
- 3-6 years' experience in the training & development or solution sales space.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding targets in a B2B environment.
