Purpose of the Job :
Responsible for the development and performance of Sales Representative activities in the assigned market. Directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.

Qualifications and Skills required :
- Matric with maths and science.
- Diploma in Sales / Marketing.
- 5 years experience in electronic sales, with two years at senior level, preferably in the mining industry.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles.
Key responsibilities :
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Manage and sell company products, services, and solutions to customers within a specific geographic territory.
- Meet and maintain sales budgets, including net profit.
- Identify sales and service opportunities.
- Negotiate and close sales and service deals.
- Conduct calls, visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Respond to technical questions from customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships.
- Provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing on prospects and applications, aiming to maximize profit margins.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints.
- Ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Stay current on industry trends to identify product improvements or new products.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Attend trade shows and conferences, providing feedback on market conditions.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical groups.
Administrative functions :
- Develop business plans and sales strategies to meet company sales goals and profitability in collaboration with technical and regional managers.
- Prepare action plans for effective lead and prospect searches.
- Develop plans to enter new markets.
- Prepare annual budgets with relevant managers.
- Control expenses within budget guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, payments, and commissions.
- Schedule customer visits and meetings.
- Gather customer information for marketing and sales strategy development.
- Research industry trends and competitors regularly.
- Compile and submit monthly reports.
- Maintain a database of prospects and customers.
