Job Description
Scope of Position:
- Responsible for growing and managing the hotel's client base to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Maximize occupancy and average daily rate through effective sales strategies and client relationships. Oversee sales for rooms, meeting spaces, special events, and catering outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new target markets and business opportunities for ACCOR properties.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing support and future business.
- Monitor and track sales performance against targets, implementing measures to meet goals.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans in collaboration with General Managers and ACCOR teams.
- Conduct daily sales calls, arrange site inspections, and represent hotels at events and exhibitions.
- Manage and update the hotel database with accurate client contact and agreement records.
- Compile and present sales reports and statistics to owners and ACCOR Hotels.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, room types, and packages.
- Assist with site inspections for potential clients and report operational concerns to the General Manager.
- Establish ongoing On Job Training Programs within the department to meet Brand and Service Standards, using Department Procedure Manuals as a base.
- Induct new staff into the team, department, and hotel in their first week, ensuring duties are carried out per standards and procedures.
- Communicate openly with staff through regular briefings and passing relevant information.
General and Other Duties:

- The employee may be asked to perform tasks in any hotel area as requested by management.

- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, ensuring uniforms meet hotel requirements.
- Ensure the security and protection of guests’ belongings, reporting any left items.
- Prioritize guest safety, reporting suspicious activities to management.
- Practice safety awareness at all times, identifying hazards.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or similar certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel sales, preferably at 5-star properties.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera Cloud).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
- Experience in Sales, Retail, or Business Development roles.
