Venair is a leading engineering and manufacturing company of silicone hoses and flexible silicone pieces for the most demanding sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fuel cells, and aerospace.

We provide innovative custom solutions according to our customers' requirements. The Group was established in 1986. Nowadays, Venair has more than 30 sales branches distributed in Europe, Africa, Asia, and America, 4 manufacturing centers, and employs more than 300 people around the world.

What are we looking for

Now, due to our fast international expansion, we are seeking a Technical Sales Executive for the Sales branch in Johannesburg, South Africa, where we support mainly Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology manufacturers and the major FMCG of the country.

Ideally, the candidate should have experience in selling industrial B2B products or process equipment to end users, OEM, and Engineering firms in these fields.

Tasks

  1. Identify prospects and manage the entire sales cycle to close new business by doing prospection, cold calling, business trips, quotations, follow-up, sales closure, and payment collection.
  2. Foster customer service relationships with clients to generate future business opportunities.
  3. Frequently visit the assigned areas comprising territory close to the office and another/s states.
  4. Achieve sales goals by following proven processes and developing new ones.
  5. Champion company products by demonstrating product-specific knowledge.
  6. Fill in the CRM (Salesforce) with all your commercial efforts.
  7. Represent the company in exhibitions and trade fairs (as a visitor or exhibitor).
  8. Other sales tasks.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar).
  2. B2B Sales Experience from 1 to 2 years, especially in green fields and sectors such as pharmaceutical or food.
  3. Gauteng area residents preferred.
  4. Driving license class B mandatory.
  5. High Level of English.
  6. Other languages such as Afrikaans will be a plus.
  7. Flexibility to travel frequently (minimum 50% of the time).
  8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  9. Unfixed term contract.
  10. A total annual compensation package based on experience and qualifications.
