Job summary

A leading business-to-business publishing house is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive advertising sales in the travel and tourism sector. You will identify new business opportunities and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and excellent communication skills. This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or advertising.
  • Experience in travel / tourism is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

SUMMARY :

A leading business-to-business publishing house, specialising in trade publications across niche industries.

WHO WE ARE :

Adynamic and motivated Sales Executive with a strong background in travel or tourism. The ideal candidate is confident, energetic and enjoys networking and building lasting business relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Prospect, identify and secure new advertising business within the travel and tourism sector
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients and key accounts
  • Present and promote advertising solutions tailored to client needs
  • Plan meetings and travel routes efficiently – this is not a daily on-the-road sales rep. position
  • Achieve monthly activity targets (30 prospects and 12 meetings) and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of new business to Account Executives
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or advertising (preferably in travel / tourism)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Key Account Management (KAM)experience, with the ability to convert relationships into new business
  • Experience withwholesalers(airlines, tour operators, hotels, etc.) (preferred)
  • Strong organisation and planning abilities
  • A goal-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
  • A valid driver’s license and own vehicle
