Job Purpose :

Our client is seeking a Sales Executive with experience in the courier or logistics industry, strong client relationship skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

The role involves driving new business, growing market share, and delivering tailored courier solutions to support the company’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  2. Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  3. Assess customer requirements and recommend effective courier and logistics solutions.
  4. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate rates, and finalize service agreements in line with company policies.
  5. Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and potential market changes.
  7. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  8. Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and account information within the CRM system.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Matric qualification (essential); further studies in Sales, Business, or Logistics are advantageous.
  • Proven sales track record, preferably within the courier, logistics, or related industry.
  • Strong target-driven approach with the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with experience using CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport (for client visits, if required).
