Sales Executive Sports & Technology

My client looking for a smart, confident Sales Executive who knows that modern B2B outreach is more than cold calls—it's about building relevance, opening doors, and creating meaningful commercial opportunities through sharp research, engaging storytelling, and confident closing.

This is a fully remote fast-paced, hands-on role reporting directly to the commercial team in the UK. You will drive prestigious award entries, secure sponsorships for events and publications, working with everyone from innovative start-ups to global giants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect Intelligence Research and identify high-potential companies and decision-makers across sport, technology, performance, media, engineering, and design.
  • Outreach & Pipeline Building Craft and execute multi-touch outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls, event follow-ups) that spark conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Consultative Selling Understand prospects brands, innovation priorities, and commercial goals to position awards entries, editorial inclusion, and sponsorships effectively.
  • Pitching & Closing Deliver tailored proposals, run virtual meetings, overcome objections, and convert prospects into committed partners.
  • CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate CRM records, track progress, and share insights that refine our commercial strategy.
Requirements for the role include
  • Proven B2B sales experience ideally in media, events, or innovation-driven environments.
  • A track record of building your own pipeline and closing deals.
  • Commercial curiosity a genuine interest in how businesses grow and where innovation fits in.
