ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic platform transforming everyday travel into earning opportunities by connecting daily travel routes with eCommerce deliveries, is seeking a Sales Director who is both commercially sharp and impact-driven—someone who can lead retailer acquisition, own strategic partnerships, and scale the platform’s presence within the mid-to-large retail sector. This is not just a sales role, it's a chance to join early, shape growth, and share in the upside of a business that’s already moving past startup phase and scaling rapidly.

DUTIES:

Key Responsibilities:

Retailer Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Build and own a sales pipeline of retail and eCommerce partners, focusing on businesses using Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
  • Guide integration processes (API, plugin, or manual), enabling a seamless plug-and-play experience.

Relationship & Account Management

  • Act as a strategic advisor to onboarded partners—highlighting cost savings, ESG benefits, and inclusive delivery advantages.
  • Foster long-term relationships to drive delivery volume and retention.

Social Impact Advocacy & Market Expansion

  • Champion the platform’s mission of gender and youth inclusion, community upliftment, and carbon credit monetization.
  • Present impact metrics and position the offering within partners' ESG/CSI frameworks.

Growth Leadership

  • Work closely with the founding team and VCs to expand into new markets and verticals.
  • Bring new mid-tier and top-end retailers on board—ideally 20–30 relationships, converting a portion in the first month.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7–10+ years in retail, eCommerce, logistics, or digital payments
  • Proven B2B sales track record, ideally with Shopify/WooCommerce-integrated retailers
  • Existing retail network (ideally 20–30 warm connections you can bring to the table)
  • Exposure to API integrations, delivery tech, or last-mile logistics
  • Passion for social impact, sustainability, and scalable innovation
  • Experience in fast-paced or startup environments preferred
  • Strong communicator and negotiator, comfortable with CRM tools and data-led selling
