Job Description: Sales Person for Renewable Energy Company
A Renewable Energy Company based in Midrand is seeking a Sales Person to identify and establish new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Focus on new business development with 5 to 8 years of experience in renewable energy.
- Deep understanding of our company's products and services, complemented by consumer research to meet needs.
- Ability to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Develop and implement territory action plans based on data analysis, adjusting sales techniques as needed.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Identify prospects, set appointments, conduct qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business across all service categories.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge, conduct demos, and handle objections effectively.
- Prepare professional reports, proposals, and documentation for executive presentations.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing client needs and utilizing a structured selling process, including demos and presentations.
- Coordinate with other sales team members, perform market research, and monitor competitors regularly.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in electrical or Solar PV sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems.
- Personal integrity and a professional demeanor.
