Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced sales engineer capable of combining technical engineering knowledge with sales and customer service skills. The primary focus is to understand customer requirements, propose appropriate mechanical products or solutions, and support the sales process with technical expertise.

Position Details:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing sector’s sales cycles and procurement processes.
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles within manufacturing or mechanical contexts.
  • Understand and analyze customer technical needs and specifications.
  • Recommend and present mechanical products, systems, or solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to tailor solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales with engineering and purchasing teams.
  • Provide after-sales support, training, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor products.
  • Direct experience with mechanical systems, components, or equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, HVAC, automation, CNC machines).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Optional: Additional coursework or certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
