About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our Engineered Structures division, which supplies fixed-tilt ground-mounted solar PV carport and PV canopy structures. The role is technical but customer-facing. Strategise and implement sales plans to expand market reach and meet or exceed sales targets.
Quotations and Solutions Preparation:
Develop comprehensive quotations and Bill of Materials (BOM) for PV module mounting solutions.
Ensure all proposals align with company standards and fulfil client-specific requirements. A deep understanding of steel & aluminium, as well as the fabrication & manufacturing processes, will be advantageous.
Evaluate client needs and propose optimal mounting solutions that adhere to both technical and operational standards.
Help elevate the accuracy and standard of the team to minimise mistakes and extra costs.
Sales Support:
Identify new sales opportunities by staying informed about industry trends and advancements.
Collaborate closely with the sales team leader to enhance proposal precision and ensure competitive pricing.
Provide technical insights and support to clients throughout the sales process, enabling them to make informed decisions.
Product Knowledge & Customer Engagement:
Cultivate a deep understanding of Lumax Energy's product range and emerging industry trends.
Engage directly with customers to gather and verify project and site-specific data, ensuring accurate solution delivery.
Maintain ongoing communication to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Team Collaboration:
Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Work in conjunction with other sales professionals to achieve divisional targets and contribute to organisational growth.
Help drive the team as well as yourself, and your team members individually, to achieve their KPI's as well as the team's goal.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately document all client interactions, communications, and proposal details.
Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the team leader regarding sales progress and customer interactions.
Ensure timely follow-ups on all submitted quotations to convert prospects into satisfied customers.
