Sales Director

Job Summary:

A company is looking for a high-performing Sales Director to drive new business acquisition by managing a robust sales pipeline and consistently meeting revenue targets. This is a senior individual contributor role, focused on direct sales to end-users, and requires a deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

The ideal candidate will manage their own sales pipeline, coordinate with partnerships and marketing teams, and drive revenue growth through direct client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own and manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to contract close.
  2. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline using inbound leads, outbound outreach, and partner referrals.
  3. Engage with senior decision-makers, presenting tailored solutions aligned to client needs.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies.
  5. Work with the partnerships team to leverage platform integrations and referral channels.
  6. Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
  7. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  8. Develop and refine sales collateral, pitch decks, and proposals.
  9. Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
  10. Manage and mentor junior members of the sales team as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. 5+ years in B2B sales within SaaS or tech.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Tech field.
  3. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  4. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  5. Deep understanding of solution selling, SaaS metrics, and deal structuring.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  7. Strong understanding of B2B buying journeys and complex stakeholder management.
  8. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  9. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
