This is a field position responsible for defining andmanaging the overall strategic direction and focus of the sales team and otherresources assigned to the sales area as determined by area for defining and meeting customer requirements within the assignedarea and for developing and evaluating strategies to drive the team towardsreaching divisional objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Responsiblefor direct management of assigned area personnel and other resources assignedto the sales area.
- Developand implement the sales strategy of SADC markets
- Managethe activities in assigned areas to achieve divisional financial objectives.
- Defineevaluate and meet customer requirements.
- Accountablefor top Line and bottomline results
- Participatein the hiring development of employees coaching and feedback assessing theeffectiveness of the staff and determining appropriate staff and resources tosupport the long and shortterm goals of the assigned area.
- Reviewcustomer contracts and regional activities within area to meet marginrequirements.
- Supplysenior management with area annual sales and expense budgets as well as longerterm strategic planning targets.
- Identifynew market opportunities and expansion strategy
- Alignsales goals with overall Business Goals
- Provideinput into development and adjustment to sales organizational structure.
- Responsiblefor providing a rolledup forecast with input from the regions in their area.
- Complywith and ensure adherence to the controlled documentation system recordretention policies procedures and processes for department to set and meetservice levels required by customers in accordance with Corporate / Divisionalguidelines FDA and ISO 9001.
- Provideinput from the customers perspective to all other business functions asrequired.
- Participatein development and management of sales incentives.
