Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, while creating a strong first impression of Blacksmith Agency.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals with high-quality touches. This is a remote, full-time role within South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
