Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline nationwide. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects, while delivering Blacksmith’s first impression.

You will use thoughtful outreach with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in SDR/BDR roles; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Grit, curiosity and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
