LOCATION: Observatory, Cape Town

TITLE: Sales Development Representative

LEVEL: Associate

JOB TYPE: Full Time (Hybrid)

WORKING HOURS: 1pm SA time to 10pm SA time

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience who is ready to bring their expertise to a fast-paced, innovative environment. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact by connecting businesses with the Legal and IT solutions they need to succeed.

What you will bring:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written - Near Native Level English.
  • You can communicate in a clear, goal-oriented way that leaves no room for interpretation
  • You take initiative, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High energy and positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Booking outbound meetings through cold calling
  • Also generating outbound meetings through a multi-channel approach of emails, social selling, networking, and independent research
  • Establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally with our different clients
  • Engaging with a range of prospects, including C-suite/Directors, from all sorts of different organizations ranging from Blue Chip to the Public Sector
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects on behalf of our clients to unearth challenges and an understanding of digital roadmaps for the coming year.

Key responsibilities of a corporate sales representative might include:

Prospecting and lead generation:

Identifying potential clients within target industries and generating qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.

Relationship building:

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts at client companies, understanding their business challenges and goals.

Needs analysis:

Conducting in-depth consultations to assess client needs and identify opportunities to match their requirements with the company's products or services.

Solution selling:

Presenting customized proposals and demonstrating how the company's offerings can address specific client pain points and deliver value.

Account management:

Maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients, managing renewals, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Market knowledge:

Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to effectively position the company's offerings.

Must be flexible to work in US hours.
