Sales Development Representative

Curated Stories is an online food photography business based in South Africa that tells creative stories with food. We provide food photography, videography, food styling, and content creation services with a niche style of transition and stop-motion food videography.

Our passion lies in inspiring the consumption of local and natural foods through simple, delicious, and healthy recipes that do not restrict any foods and never compromise on flavour! Our four years of experience has led us to discover the need for an affordable, creative, and informative digital product that provides practical, convenient, budget-friendly, and easy-to-incorporate solutions for healthy living to South Africans. We aim to teach readers how to consume healthy, plant-based whole foods, protein, healthy fats, and nutrients while sharing informative articles that cover a wide range of health topics, with expert advice from professionals and various leaders in the food industry. This digital read will also strive to promote our local food industry, providing visibility for small businesses and creating versatile recipes suitable for any diet.

We are looking for passionate, ambitious, driven, and focused individuals who will be ambassadors of our vision to help us secure funding for Curated, our digital Food Stories read, and play a vital role in generating sales for our magazines.

What we require:

1. Actively promote the Curated Stories Fundraising Campaign by seeking donations to contribute to the development and production of our digital magazine.
2. Promote the growth of Curated Stories through engagement with our social media content across all active platforms, e.g. like, comment, and share reels, images, and fundraising posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Threads.

What we offer:

1. 20% commission on all donations obtained, paid weekly directly to you.
2. Growth opportunities within the company - all sales development representatives will receive first preference for all new job posts which align with their qualifications.
3. Guaranteed conversion from seeking donations post-campaign to marketing and generating sales for our magazines as well as other related products, building customer loyalty and forging relationships with our local food community.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Sales and Marketing experience
