Overview
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for the following :
- Researching quality leads / potential clients using internal processes and partner websites.
- Communication with prospective clients to arrange sales calls.
- Inputting of data and cross checking of leads through Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Managing and overseeing the daily activities within the Sales Function - such as follow up, research and information gathering.

Qualifications & Experience
- University Undergraduate Degree of any background; Commerce-focus is preferable.
- Advantageous : Honours Degree.
- Strong academic track record is required.
Skill Set and Desired Competencies
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent use of the English language; both written and verbal.
- Maintain effective communication with team members at all times.
- Ability to adapt within the ever-changing shipping environment.
- Ability to coordinate large high-value deals and keep track of and successfully manage all elements on each high value project.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proactive problem solving.
- General business acumen.
