Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

As an SDR, you’ll build targeted lists, craft personalized outreach, and work with Salesforce/SalesLoft to keep data clean, while aligning with Account Executives to book discovery

Qualifications

• Two years in an SDR/BDR role or similar.
• Ability to write clear, personalized outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools and sequence building.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Self-motivated with a coachable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and refine targeting with the sales team.

• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.
