Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for Sales Development Representatives to join our team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith with prospective clients.

In this remote role, you will use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality. 2 years in SDR/BDR is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in SDR/BDR roles.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
