Job description

Who we are looking for

A highly organised, experienced, and driven Senior Sales & CRM Manager with a strong focus on CRM and internal sales excellence to join our dynamic Services Growth team. In this role, you will take full ownership of our CRM strategy and systems (primarily HubSpot), improve customer success and after-sales processes, and support sales enablement initiatives across the organisation.

This role is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You’ll work closely with Senior Leadership and Pillar Heads while directly managing a Junior CRM Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the organisation’s CRM strategy, ensuring data accuracy, adoption, and consistency across all teams.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automations to enhance visibility and sales performance.
  • Drive ongoing CRM improvements and integrations to support operational scalability and efficiency.
  • Design and implement customer success and after-sales processes, including check-ins, renewals, referrals, and upsell initiatives.
  • Manage and optimise the referral program to generate high-quality leads from clients, partners, and networks.
  • Support internal sales operations by coordinating outreach campaigns, tracking RFPs, and supporting event-driven lead generation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing to enhance internal branding and sales content initiatives.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Junior CRM/SDR Roles, ensuring clarity, accountability, and development.
  • Work on internal projects, supporting other areas of the business.
  • Work from our Cape Town office 2–3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM management, sales operations, or customer success, ideally in a startup, consulting, or high-growth environment.
  • Proven expertise in HubSpot CRM (or similar platforms like Pipedrive or Zoho), including automation, segmentation, reporting, and process optimisation.
  • Demonstrated success in improving sales processes, customer lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience managing, training, and mentoring junior team members or direct reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and interpret dashboards and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management across departments, with strong interpersonal and coordination abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align operations and processes with broader business goals.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to support and deliver professional presentations and internal enablement content.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to go the extra mile and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, international, and evolving environment.
