Job Description: Scope of Position: A detail-oriented Sales Coordinator will support the Banqueting Manager and sales team to achieve monthly targets by coordinating sales activities, site inspections, and maintaining customer relationships.
The responsibilities include supporting sales efforts, ensuring client satisfaction, coordinating with departments, handling administrative duties, and preparing quotations. Key tasks involve assisting with site inspections, following up on quotes, collaborating across departments, maintaining sales records, and preparing event documentation.
Operational duties include knowledge of hotel facilities, conducting site inspections, overseeing events, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. The role also involves system management, suggesting improvements, and adhering to policies.
Guest service responsibilities include greeting guests, responding to requests, anticipating needs, and promoting hotel services. Building positive relationships with colleagues and clients, actively selling hotel promotions, and participating in community initiatives are also essential.
The role requires flexibility to perform tasks across hotel areas, maintain high personal and uniform standards, ensure guest belongings' security, and participate in safety and environmental programs. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount, and the role may evolve with business needs.
Qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in Opera and CRM software, strong organizational and communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Fluency in English is essential.
