Our client is seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Consultant to join their fast-paced insurance sales team. This role focuses on converting high-quality leads generated by the bond origination division into policy sales. The successful candidate will engage directly with potential clients, present tailored insurance solutions, and consistently meet or exceed sales goals, all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
Lead Engagement & Sales Conversion:
- Reach out to prospective clients from a steady stream of leads supplied by the bond origination business.
- Present relevant insurance offerings, aligning products with individual client needs.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, following up effectively to close sales.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong rapport with clients to encourage long-term retention and satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries in a professional, helpful, and timeous manner.
- Keep CRM systems updated with accurate client and sales information.
Performance & Collaboration:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and colleagues to support team objectives and share best practices.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all sales processes are compliant with FSCA regulations, FAIS requirements, and internal company policies.
- Remain current with insurance regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- RE5 certificate and FAIS accreditation (e.g., NQF5 Wealth Management) – compulsory.
- Additional certifications in sales or insurance are beneficial.
Experience:
- Proven success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Prior experience in insurance or financial services preferred.
