Job Description

Our client is a well-established national private tertiary education institution offering quality courses to professionals and school leavers.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, dedicated, professional, and eager to achieve sales targets.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for their campus in Boksburg, fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build relationships with schools, teachers, principals, parents, and prospective students.
  • Schedule and deliver presentations to Grade 11 & 12 learners.
  • Engage with learners from Grade 8 to 10 to create first contact opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with funding and student loan organizations.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Book school appointments with top feeder schools and present to learners; extend to earlier grades if needed.
  • Manage data collection against targets.
  • Generate 60-80% of school learners in the region.
  • Distribute information cards promptly after presentations.
  • Create events and opportunities to improve lead conversion.
  • Implement customer service programs to enhance retention and reduce cancellations.
  • Collaborate with campus teams, student advisors, and facilitators to maximize event attendance and enrollments.
  • Promote brand loyalty and execute marketing plans.
  • Schedule appointments with schools, teachers, prospects, and parents.
  • Coordinate with student advisors for consultations and events.
  • Assist in recruiting students for the upcoming intake.
  • Mine and contact career database contacts.
  • Plan and schedule marketing campaigns, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Suggest innovative marketing approaches for revenue growth.
  • Support sales efforts and guide product positioning.

Requirements

Education: Sales or Marketing background beneficial.

Experience: Experience in academic advising or related fields in post-secondary education preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
