Job description

Our client is a well-established national Private Tertiary Education institution offering quality and attractive courses to professionals and school leavers alike.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, dedicated, committed, professional, and hungry for new business and achieving their set sales targets. We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for their campus in Boksburg. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential for this role.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at schools, including teachers, principals, parents, and prospective students.
  • Schedule and deliver presentations to Grade 11 & 12 learners.
  • Create opportunities for first contact with learners from Grade 8 to 10.
  • Build relationships with funding and student loan organizations.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Book school appointments with top feeder schools and present to Grade 11 and 12 learners; these bookings may extend to earlier grades if required.
  • Manage data collection against targets.
  • Generate at least 60-80% of school learners in the allocated region.
  • Ensure quick delivery of information cards after presentations.
  • Create events and opportunities to ensure high lead conversion.
  • Develop a customer service/customer experience program on campus to ensure customer retention and minimize cancellations.
  • Collaborate with campus teams, student advisors, and facilitators to maximize attendance at enrollment events.
  • Drive brand loyalty and execute marketing plans.
  • Book appointments with schools, teachers, prospects, and parents.
  • Liaise with student advisors for consultations and events.
  • Participate in student recruitment for the upcoming intake.
  • Mine and contact the career database.
  • Schedule appointments and consultations according to targets.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling marketing campaigns, trade shows, conferences, and industry meetings.
  • Recommend innovative marketing approaches for revenue growth.
  • Provide sales support and guidance for product positioning.
Requirements:

Education: Sales and/or Marketing experience is beneficial.

Experience: Experience in academic advising or related careers in post-secondary education is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits:

R20,000 - R25,000 depending on experience + commission. Benefits include a fuel card, cell phone, and laptop.
