Job Opportunity: Sales Professional in Logistics

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced sales professional to sell impactful high-demand logistical services in a leading national company known for its innovative supply chain and transport solutions.

Requirements
  • BA Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales with at least 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential customers, demonstrating effective networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to meet sales targets.
  • Ability to present and articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Capabilities & Competencies
  • Conduct market research and identify potential customer segments, industries, and geographic areas for business development.
  • Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, nurture leads throughout the sales process, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct sales presentations showcasing the value and benefits of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Prepare sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and contract terms with potential customers.

The proposed salary range is R15k - R25k per month plus a commission scheme. The client may offer a salary based on market conditions, qualifications, skills, and experience.
