Job description

Energetic, hardworking consultant in the Hardware Power Tool industry with proven experience. Handle internal & external customer enquiries. Do quotations and follow up, communicating efficiently & timeously, ensuring customer experience drives the business into being a preferred supplier.

Plan & coordinate sales efforts to achieve & exceed targets, provide feedback to management on customer & market information. Investigate new products & keep up to date on market trends. Will participate in new product launches & promotions as well as demonstrations & training.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Sales qualifications
3. Previous experience in & of power tools & woodworking tools (essential)
4. DIY experience (advantage)
5. Fluent in English and Afrikaans, well spoken & presentable
6. MS computer literacy required
7. Self-motivated & able to work independently & as part of a team
8. Code 08 and own transport (essential)
9. Passion for DIY, hardware & power tools & woodwork
10. Punctuality & ability to work retail hours including Saturdays & overtime as required
