Sales Consultant (Hardware) required in Cape Town.

Are you passionate about sales and customer service, with a background in hardware, glass, or aluminium products? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Consultant to join our clients dynamic team based in Montague Gardens.

In this internal sales role, you’ll play a key part in driving sales, supporting external reps, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.

Requirements:

  • Matric,
  • Proven experience in internal sales, preferably within the glass, aluminium, or building materials industry
  • Strong understanding of wholesale sales processes, customer service, and order management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills to manage quotes, sales orders, and follow-ups effectively
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude with problem-solving skills and a willingness to go the extra mile

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Internal Sales and assisting External salesperson
  • Tracking sales orders and following up on quotes
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Identify new customers and forward to External Sales
  • Reaching sales quotas and goals
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
  • Brining new customers to increase customer base.
