Sales Consultant - Durban Central (Must have own Vehicle)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, providing security solutions to our customers.
  2. Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and more to meet client needs.
  3. Exceed monthly sales targets through proactive engagement and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in capital goods sales.
  • Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC, AJAX, or other alarm systems is advantageous.
  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
Job Requirements & Attributes
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional selling, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and Internet.
  • Presentable appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (non-negotiable).
  • Minimum PSIRA Grade C.
Duties
  • Generate and close deals, sourcing leads and following up diligently.
  • Cultivate relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports to track sales progress.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records.
Performance Standards
  • Achieve sales revenue targets and acquire new clients.
  • Follow up promptly on leads and quotes to maximize conversions.
