Qualifications

  • Grade 12 and appropriate insurance qualification (FAIS & RE certified) required.
  • 2 years’ call center experience preferred, long-term insurance experience is advantageous.

Job Description

The role involves providing quality sales service to generate business from new and existing sources, contributing to the company's profitability and growth.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing sales calls according to schedules, campaigns, and targets.
  • Guide customers telephonically through product offerings, pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Provide accurate and efficient quotations to customers.
  • Maintain lead-to-sale, lead-to-quote, and quote-to-sale ratios as per targets.
  • Work shifts as scheduled.
  • Manage allocated leads and sell according to daily targets.
  • Maintain a 90% QA average on all calls.
  • Capture customer data accurately and efficiently.
  • Finalize calls at contact point where possible.
  • Send accurate policy documents within mandated timeframes.
  • Deal professionally with customers in line with the company's culture and standards.
  • Manage time and workloads to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of products, campaigns, rules, and conditions to recommend suitable solutions.
  • Deliver quality customer service, build positive relations, and handle queries and complaints effectively.
  • Gather and report customer satisfaction feedback and suggest service improvements.
  • Contribute to a service culture that fosters rewarding relationships and innovation.
  • Ensure cost control and adhere to governance policies.
  • Operate within mandates and organizational policies.
  • Align behavior with company values, share knowledge, and collaborate with the team.
  • Participate in professional development and achieve performance objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12
  • Appropriate insurance qualification (FAIS & RE certified, non-negotiable)
  • 2 years’ call center experience, with Long Term Insurance experience advantageous
