Job description

Are you a natural salesperson with a passion for building strong customer relationships and driving business growth? Harck and Heart is looking for a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our team on-site at Firgrove Business Park.

In this role, your primary function is to actively sell our products and maintaining relationships with existing clients while also focusing on lead generation.

You will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager of Harck and Heart.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Sales & Business Development:

·Actively selling Harck and Heart products by engaging with customers through in-person visits, phone calls, and online communication.

·Maintaining accurate and up to date customer profiles.

·Research and generating high-quality leads.

·Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and follow-ups.

2)Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls and visits to provide excellent customer service and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

3)Order Processing & Account Management:

  • Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring smooth transactions from order to delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requests.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead follow-ups in the CRM system.

4)Lead Generation & Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Proactively seek out and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand business connections.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in telesales, sales administration or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills—both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales tracking software, or Excel is a plus.
  • Own transport with a valid driver’s license - this is a non-negotiable
