Reporting To: Sales and Marketing Director
To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new sales opportunities in local, regional, and African markets. The Sales Consultant will implement strategic sales initiatives, manage customer relationships, and achieve defined sales targets while maintaining high service standards and compliance.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities across assigned regions
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through strategic networking and client outreach
Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and tenders
Deliver product and solution-based presentations to decision-makers
Conduct negotiations, close deals, and secure new business
Retain existing accounts by providing ongoing support, guidance, and relationship nurturing
Act as a point of contact for client queries and complaints, ensuring timeous resolution
Conduct regular meetings to assess client needs and offer customized solutions
Monitor client satisfaction and maintain loyalty
Complete all CRM entries and administrative processes daily
Collaborate with internal estimation and operations teams to prepare compliant documentation
Ensure timely invoicing and assist in managing the full payment cycle
Generate monthly reports on sales performance and client feedback
Provide after-sales support and ensure seamless project handover
NQF 5 qualification in Sales or similar (preferred)
Equivalent experience will be considered where formal qualifications are not held
4-6 years proven sales experience in fire protection, fire prevention, security systems, or a technical solutions industry (required)
Strong technical sales and negotiation skills
Ability to manage high volumes of administrative tasks and reporting
Self-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills
