Sales Consultant

Our client has an opportunity available for a Sales Consultant based in Pretoria.

Requirements:

1. English and Afrikaans language proficiency.
2. Relevant tertiary qualification in a science background would be advantageous.
3. Relevant sales or marketing qualification.
4. Well established existing customer relationships - preferred.
5. 2-3 years' experience in strong direct sales & detailing - preferred.
6. Dispensing doctor, retailing pharmacy, independent pharmacy & scripting doctors experience - essential.
7. Wholesaler interaction and dealings would be advantageous.
8. Scheduled pharmaceutical product experience - essential.

KPAs:

1. Effectively communicate technical knowledge of the company's product range to influence the habits of the targeted healthcare.
2. Engage in a detailing session with all parties.
3. Ensure daily information flow of competitor activities and general company transactions.
4. Manage the territory to achieve service level requirements in a cost-effective manner.
5. Build relationships with pharmacy staff.
6. Organize pharmacy training events.
7. Travel for a minimum of 10 days each month as per the business requirements.
