We are looking for a Sales Consultant in Cape Town

Bed King is the only mattress retailer in South Africa that uses exclusive sleep technology as part of our sales process.

Due to it being independently owned and run, Bed King has a flat structure where each employee has the opportunity to give their input and be heard.

TOP PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE:

1. Close at least 50% of all customers dealt with, without relying on discounting (Achieve individual Gross Profit targets on a monthly basis).
2. Learn and embrace the "new" Bed King way of selling and using sleep technology (% of in-store customers to be offered a memorable retail experience).
3. Provide excellent customer service by playing a proactive role in all customer contact situations (achieve % positive client).
4. Assist the Branch Manager with any administrative duties within the store, in line with company policies and procedures.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Offer in-store customers a memorable retail experience, by utilising Bed King's sleep technology to sell sleep-related products and thereby consistently achieving monthly Gross Profit targets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
2. Customer service experience within a retail environment (furniture retail preferable).
3. A strong track record of meeting Gross Profit sales targets.
4. Ability to commute to work without hassle.
5. Computer literate and technology savvy.
