Job description

Our client has an opportunity available for a Sales Consultant based in Pretoria.

Requirements :

  • English and Afrikaans language proficiency.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a science background would be advantageous.
  • Relevant sales or marketing qualification.
  • Well established existing customer relationships- preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in strong direct sales & detailing- preferred.
  • Dispensing doctor, retailing pharmacy, independent pharmacy & scripting doctors experience- essential.
  • Wholesaler interaction and dealings would be advantageous.
  • Scheduled pharmaceutical product experience- essential.

KPAs :

  • Effectively communicate technical knowledge of the company’s product range to influence the habits of the targeted healthcare.
  • Engage in a detailing session with all parties.
  • Ensure daily information flow of competitor activities and general company transactions.
  • Manage the territory to achieve service level requirements in a cost-effective manner.
  • Build relationships with pharmacy staff.
  • Organize pharmacy training events.
  • Travel for a minimum of 10 days each month as per the business requirements.
