Job summary

SA Metal is seeking a Buying Administrator to support a high-volume scrap metal buying team. You will handle administrative tasks, data capture, and reporting with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires Excel expertise, experience in fast-paced sales/customer service, and reliability. You will work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and may need overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume administrative role.
• Experience in fast-paced sales and customer service environments.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets, formulas and basic reconciliations.
• Proven accuracy in data capture and reporting.
• Experience meeting deadlines in time-sensitive environments.
• Reliable with consistent attendance.
• Own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-volume scrap metal buying team with admin tasks.
• Capture data accurately and generate reports.
• Assist with reconciliations and spreadsheet work.
• Coordinate with the Divisional Director and colleagues.
