Job Title: Sales Assistant - Crocs, Sandton

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg

Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
  • Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds.
  • Deliver excellent customer service following Birkenstock procedures.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate product benefits accordingly.
  • Close sales and promote additional products.
  • Encourage repeat visits and foster customer loyalty.
  • Monitor daily sales against individual targets regularly.
Inventory Management
  • Replenish stock daily for footwear, apparel, and accessories.
  • Minimize shrinkage through store zoning, acknowledgment, and policy adherence.
  • Accurately record stock entries in the POS system.
  • Handle deliveries, including checking, tagging, pricing, and recording.
  • Process customer orders efficiently.
Daily Operations
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization daily.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Training & Development
  • Take responsibility for personal training and development.
  • Learn from a designated buddy initially.
  • Attend quarterly training sessions and complete assessments.
  • Receive monthly feedback from management.
  • Meet monthly with the store manager to review progress.
  • Participation in training influences eligibility for promotion.
Merchandising
  • Maintain store presentation according to Birkenstock standards.
  • Replenish sizes and update displays regularly.
  • Assist with window and mannequin changes biweekly.
  • Store POS materials properly to prevent damage.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Birkenstock products is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
