Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Sales Channel Coordinator (Paid Media) to join their team based in Midrand. The role involves liaising with Category Buyers and Suppliers to plan, coordinate, and execute weekly online promotions, ensuring advertising is secured for print and digital publications, and all deadlines are met.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
• 1 - 2 years of experience in Advertising or Promotions
• Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing

Job Description

• Assist in planning weekly online promotions and determine effective promotional offers based on themes and trends.
• Source discounted deals from suppliers and buyers for weekly promotions, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Communicate promotions to stakeholders via marketing communication.
• Compile and approve deal sheets, then distribute to relevant departments for execution.
• Maintain accurate booking forms and online product listings with images and stock levels.
• Track sales results and promotional effectiveness, and report post-promotion results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate billing processes for advertising activities.
• Maintain organized records on share drives.
• Build and sustain good relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Source advertising for print and digital media aligned with content plans and campaigns.
• Ensure deadlines, budgets, and targets are adhered to, and proofread advertising materials.
• Create trackable links for digital campaigns and compile performance reports.
• Monitor digital campaign performance and recommend improvements.
• Serve as liaison between marketing, online teams, data management, buyers, and suppliers.
• Plan upcoming work with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Provide proof of campaign execution and reports on campaign outcomes.
• Update tracking and scheduling documents regularly.
