Job Title: Sales Assistant

Position Overview:

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team in achieving their targets and objectives. You will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to post-sales support. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about promoting financial inclusion and making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through research, networking, and outreach activities.
  2. Prospecting: Support the sales team in initiating contact with prospects via email, phone calls, and other communication channels.
  3. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  4. Sales Collateral: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials to support the sales process.
  5. Follow-up: Coordinate follow-up activities with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  6. Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
  7. Customer Service: Assist with resolving customer inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and potential opportunities for growth.
  9. Training and Development: Continuously develop your knowledge and skills related to our products, services, and target market.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
  2. Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is preferred.
  3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships.
  5. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  7. Knowledge of financial services and/or technology.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Passion for financial inclusion and making a positive social impact.
