Job description

Introduction
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Zimbabwean team.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales from the assigned accounts to the target accounts, overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge.

You will be required to travel for a period of 6 weeks to Zimbabwe for work.

Duties & Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  2. Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  3. Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  4. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  5. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  6. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  7. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  8. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

  1. Proven sales experience as an Area Manager will be advantageous.
  2. Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  4. Excellent organizational skills.
  5. Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  6. BSc / BA in business administration or Marketing and sales or relevant field.
  7. Must be willing to travel to Africa.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Matric Certificate.
  2. Technical Certificate will be beneficial.
  3. BSc / BA in business administration or Marketing and sales or relevant field.
  4. At least 5 years experience in Sales.
Package & Remuneration

R50 to R60 dependent on experience, skills and knowledge.
