Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations and Sales Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of Almar’s ISO Tank Fleet. This individual will play a central role in coordinating internal processes, supporting commercial activities, and ensuring operational efficiency across the fleet with a focus in the ISO Tank division. The role is ideal for someone with strong logistics coordination experience, attention to detail, and customer service focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the ISO Tank fleet across various locations.
  • Manage scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of tank containers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor tank availability, maintenance schedules, and turnaround times.
  • Sales & Customer Support:
  • Assist the sales team with client proposals, pricing, and order fulfilment.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to customer queries and support requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Administrative & Reporting:
  • Maintain up-to-date operational records, contracts, and tracking reports.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for the Managing Director.
  • Assist with billing coordination and follow-up on outstanding client accounts.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination:
  • Liaise with logistics, maintenance, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operations workflow.

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, fleet coordination, or operations (ISO tanks or container industry preferred).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and highly proactive.
  • Track record of initiative and working independently without constant supervision.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and commercial awareness is a plus.
