Sales and Marketing Manager | Luxury Lodge Group | Johannesburg Salary : Negotiable DOEKendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join a prestigious luxury lodge group based in Johannesburg.
This is a pivotal role for a motivated and strategic individual with a passion for hospitality, business development, and impactful guest experiences.Key Focus Areas : Sales – Domestic and InternationalDevelop new relationships and actively engage with domestic and international agents and partnersDrive business development across multiple products through regular engagement via email, phone, and face-to-face meetingsPlan and execute sales trips including logistics and meetings to secure businessBuild and maintain a database of prospects, agents, and corporate contactsConduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activityIdentify sponsorship and donor opportunities that align with company goalsUnderstand and leverage Corporate Social Investment (CSI) opportunitiesRegularly review and refine the sales process to maximise conversionsManage and optimise a CRM system to support relationship and lead managementDevelop and maintain sales collateral such as brochures, proposals, and presentationsPrepare reports and forecasts based on performance metrics and analyticsFoster collaboration between sales, enrolment, marketing, and operations teamsAfter-Sales Relationship ManagementMaintain positive, ongoing relationships with enrolled students and alumniCoordinate logistics including travel, accommodation, and visa guidanceAct as the central point of contact post-enrolment to ensure a smooth transitionEncourage referrals and new leads through satisfied students and alumni networksBuild a community of brand ambassadors through continued engagementRequirements, Qualifications and Skills : Grade 12 essential; a degree or diploma in Sales Management is advantageousMinimum of 4 years' experience in hospitality; 2 years' experience in sales preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Opera advantageousValid Code 08 driver's licence and own reliable transportStrong product and market knowledge within the hospitality industryKey Attributes for Success : Excellent attention to detail and time managementStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Proactive and solutions-oriented with creative flairPositive team player with emotional intelligence and resilienceAble to perform well under pressure while maintaining accuracyCommitted, adaptable, and enthusiastic approachPassionate about guest satisfaction and the brand's core valuesThis is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow with a respected and forward-thinking lodge group.
