Job Title: Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating business and student enrolment. They will play a pivotal role in acquiring business and driving revenue and growth for the College.
Key focus areas include:
- Sales - Domestic and International: Develop and implement strategies for domestic & international business development, actively developing new relationships to acquire business.
- Communication & Lead Generation: Engage via email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings to stay top of mind with agents; develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract students, agents, sponsors, and partners.
- Partnerships & Marketing: Build partnerships, run marketing campaigns, attend trade shows, and network to foster relationships.
- Sales Strategy & Market Research: Create and refine sales strategies aligned with company goals; stay updated on industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prospect Identification & Corporate Social Investment: Build a database of potential donors, philanthropists, and corporate entities; understand CSI goals of partners and tailor offerings.
- Sales Process & CRM Management: Optimize the sales process, manage CRM systems for tracking leads, and maintain accurate data.
- Sales Collateral & Reporting: Develop sales materials; report on performance and forecast future sales using data analytics.
- Training & Feedback: Provide ongoing training for agents; establish feedback loops between sales and enrolment teams.
- Collaboration & Logistics: Work with marketing, enrolment, and operations teams; prepare for sales trips, including travel arrangements.
- Data Collection & Customer Relations: Maintain records of sales, support student relationships post-enrollment, assist with logistics, and seek referral opportunities.
Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills
- Grade 12 essential; Degree/Diploma in Sales Management advantageous.
- Minimum 4 years hospitality experience; 2 years sales experience advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Opera advantageous.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Strong product and market knowledge advantageous.
