Job description

We are a leader in innovative engineering solutions across Africa, specializing in construction, consulting, and IPP services.

We're seeking a commercially savvy Sales & Marketing Manager to lead sales growth and support strategic marketing initiatives across the African region. In this pivotal role, you will:

  1. Lead internal and external sales teams in South Africa and the DRC.
  2. Drive business development and market entry in key territories including Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and beyond.
  3. Support targeted marketing activities to position the company's brand and offerings for growth.

This is a sales-driven leadership role with strong marketing oversight, ideal for someone who thrives in client-facing environments, possesses a technical understanding of engineering or industrial solutions, and can translate market insights into actionable strategies. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing regional sales teams, overseeing client acquisition and retention.
  • Driving expansion into new African markets with tailored go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintaining and growing key client and OEM relationships across multiple territories.
  • Supporting the development of marketing campaigns and managing product positioning.
  • Monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and adjusting strategies for growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in technical or industrial sales, preferably in engineering or mining sectors.
  • Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing (Electrical Engineering an advantage).
  • Experience in managing teams, developing strategies, and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across African markets.
  • Fluency in English (French a bonus).

Salary: R85,000 + benefits.
