Sales and Field Support

Our client, a leading supplier of commercial grafted and engrafted vegetable seedlings, is seeking a Sales and Field Support individual for their Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.

The position will report to the National Sales Manager of the Nursery.

Responsibilities:

1. Marketing of various seedlings & recruiting new business
2. Maintenance and support of the existing client basis
3. Sound communication with production team to ensure timeous delivery of seedlings to clients which are mostly farmers
4. Follow-up & support to the clients with the relevant information to establishing & growing of seedlings

Requirements:

1. Relevant Tertiary in Agriculture i.e National Diploma, Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture
2. Relevant Marketing, sales & field support experience in the agricultural field will be advantageous
3. Reliable, proactive & energetic
4. Able to work independently & in teams
5. Fluent in both English & Afrikaans
6. Computer literate
7. Valid Code 8 drivers license
