Position Title: Sales Analyst – Global Team

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Sales Director

Location: Cape Town / Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Analyst to join our dynamic Global Sales Team. The ideal candidate will support the Regional Sales Directors and the broader sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales operations on a global scale. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Support: Assist the Regional Sales Directors, Business Development Team, and Global Sales Team with administrative tasks, including managing calendars, preparing reports, and organizing meetings and travel arrangements.
  2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data, track sales opportunities, and monitor sales pipeline progress.
  3. Sales Reporting & Analytics: Compile and generate sales reports, monitor sales performance metrics, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  4. Market Research: Assist with research on market trends, competitors, and potential clients to support sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  5. Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate sales meetings, trade shows, and global events, including logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up actions.
  6. Communication & Coordination: Act as a point of contact between the sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication across teams, regions, and departments.
  7. Documentation & Filing: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales files, records, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma required; higher degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a global or international context.
  3. Skills & Competencies:
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to Detail: Maintain high accuracy in all work aspects.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot.
    • Data Entry & Analysis: Experience in data handling and interpretation.
    • Problem-Solving: Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
    • Cultural Awareness: Ability to work with diverse teams across regions and time zones.
