Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Agent with a strong background in the UK market to join our dynamic BPO team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in selling subscription-based products or services, providing a high standard of customer support, and scheduling appointments for our client’s sales teams to close deals. This role requires a persuasive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

This position is based in Pretoria East and is an on-site position.

Basic salary of up to R11,500 with a generous commission structure.


Key Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in outbound sales or telesales, preferably in a BPO or contact centre serving the UK market.
    • Proven track record in subscription sales and/or appointment setting.
    • Experience in providing customer support to UK clients.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
    • Confident with CRM software and digital communication tools. (Hubspot)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outbound Sales: Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers in the UK, promoting subscription services and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and determine their suitability for the client’s product/service.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for the client’s sales representatives, ensuring calendars are accurately updated and aligned.
  • Customer Support: Deliver a high level of professional customer service via phone, email, and live chat, addressing queries, complaints, and service requests.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log and update customer interactions and lead progress in CRM systems. (Hubspot)
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including sales targets, conversion rates, and appointment quotas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal team members and the client’s sales team to ensure a smooth handover and follow-up process.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the client’s offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities.
