Job summary

A leading speciality chemical manufacturing company in Pinetown seeks a temporary Sales Administrator to manage sales, stock, and credit activities. Job description

Our client, a leading speciality chemical Manufacturing company based in Pinetown, is looking to fill the temporary position of Sales Administrator.

Purpose of the Role:
To ensure all activities with regards to sales, stock and credits are handled in a professional timeous manner with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
Administration:

  • Ensure all filing is accurately filed and up to date.
  • Distribution administrator.
  • Ensuring that the correct business units / target markets are invoiced and informing you line manager of any occurrences where this is not the case.

Sales:

  • Processing the distribution and industry orders timeously.
  • Capturing invoices onto Axapta with accuracy.
  • Controlling of cash sales.

Stock Control:

  • Reduction of credits and communication with the operations manager regarding stock shortages and deliveries.
  • Ensure proper communication of the above is sent to all staff involved in the process.
  • Co-ordinate stock movement and stock levels (rotation of old stock).
  • Assist with all stock take procedures and counts.

General:

  • Undertakes such additional duties which may from time to time be assigned to the Employee in the discharge of his / her duties.
  • Ensure that all company property is used properly and maintained at a high level at all times.
  • Ensure that a correct and proper image of the Company is maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate or NQF 4 qualification
  • Must have 2-3 years' experience in a sales administrative function
  • Logistics qualification is an advantage
